Announcing The First New Releases In Years. Not Just One, But Three!
The Estate of Kevin Gilbert is excited to announce the long awaited singer songwriter releases, Nuts and Bolts. Each CD contains 11 songs including the studio version of “Kashmir” on Bolts. There is no “B” material on these discs. Every song on each disc was mastered carefully by John Cuniberti. Both packages are beautifully done Digipaks with bookending images and liner notes by Cintra Wilson.

A limited edition (1,000 units) DVD/CD combo of Welcome to Joytown – Thud: Live at The Troubadour. The DVD itself contains a 3 camera video of the entire live performance, freshly mastered sound, and over 30 minutes of extras including an extensive interview of Kevin and rare live footage. The re-mastered CD now includes previously unreleased versions of “Tears of Audrey” and “Smash.”

And here is the kicker. We are going to give away 10 original copies, signed by Kevin, of the unavailable Giraffe CD, Power Of Suggestion. Kevin signed an unknown number of these CDs, each with a different little message, before they were shrink wrapped. To enter this drawing you must use the original entry certificate, one of which is included in each Welcome to Joytown - Thud Live at the Troubadour package. You can enter as many times as you have certificates to do so. No entires will be accepted after March 31st, 2010. EXTRA! 10/22/09 the Estate is adding 10 original Shaming books to the drawing.
Celebrating the releases, Hugh Brown has designed a new Kevin Gilbert T-Shirt:

We are still debating whether to release Toy Matinee Live at The Roxy. Your feedback on this will determine if we go forward.
As always, we will try to bring more content to the site and welcome the participation of Kevin’s fans.
The Official Kevin Gilbert Lithograph by Wayne Perez is available. This is a beautiful color lithograph that every Kevin Gilbert fan should own. All profits go to the KG Memorial Fund.
The Shaming of The True T-shirts are still available at Pop Plus One. Everyone should have one to wear at those “special” concerts!
The album “Padre Whispers” from Junipero Serra High School featuring Kevin is still available. Look here.
If you have any comments, questions, or suggestions, please contact Debbie Miller at webmaster@kevingilbert.com. Check the site for upcoming announcements on future releases. Thanks!
